To further develop and make sure that I make the right decision on what would be the best method to use to draw my characters I wanted to use the same methods but with the other main character in my animation so far.
I think this crab looks really cute just like the octopus drawn in this way, but this cartoony style isn't what I envisioned when I first thought up my idea, and I want my animation to appeal to everyone, which these childlike cartoon characters may not.
Just like the octopus drawn using this method, i really like the simplicity and contrast that is made. Maybe trying out this method on black paper and using chalk rather than charcoal may make this more interesting.
Again I really like this method but drawing hundreds of frames in this method would be too ambitious.
