Winking Stop-Motion Animation

The next kind of stop motion animation method that I wanted to try was the method of drawing something and then drawing it again with a slight movement and then again and again so that when pieced together in sequence it created the illusion of movement.

These are the seven drawings that I have done for the video, I simply traced over the previous drawings to make sure that the video was smoother and more precise.

A winking eye is such a ordinary movement and I wanted to recreate something ordinary into something interesting.

Although the video isn't smooth and the magazine page that is hiding a piece of masking tape holding the pages down, keeps moving. I really like the animation and this has definitely helped with the development of my skill and ideas.
